BootCD is a tool for making CDs with Apples Operating System Mac OS X. Such CDs are called Live CDs. Classic Mac OS was easily bootable from only readable media. Mac OS X is different. It is based on BSD UNIX and has to be prepared for botting from CD. Charles Srstka has developed such a program. It collects the needed parts of the OS to al burnable image file. Afteron you can add your favourite applications for example for disk repairing or diagnose or chess.Quote from Wikipedia: The Free Encyclopedia. Windows is up today not bootable from CD because it needs a writable registry file. Bart PE omits this difficulty partly.
